Our Story

Lowe and Bespoke

Our passion is making stunning designer kitchens with love and attention to detail with an emphasis on strong classic pieces which are not only durable but functional too. We get inspiration from Georgian and Shaker styles, suited to both a contemporary and traditional look, the end result being an elegant and timeless kitchen.

Bespoke to us means that every cabinet has been made and thought out independently, as every kitchen presents its own challenge.
The makers and designers in our workshop and showroom feel creative and challenged and all have a special part to play in creating each piece from design to delivery. This is why we are not just a manufacturing factory and this reflects on the experience we offer to our customers. Being a small family run business we understand the need for functionality and durability. A kitchen is often the hub of most households and it needs to work and flow. We have plenty of experience in layout and design, helping you make the most of your space and ensuring you are not compromising on look.

How it all started

Lee and Ruth Andrews started out as Makers and Designers working on bespoke commissions and restoration work for the National Trust. In 2009 we were thrilled to have won the Skilled Craft Award from the Princes Trust, which awarded us a pitch at The Ideal Home Show in Earls Court, London.

Over the last 10 years we have carefully built up our own business, finding the right spot, the Old Gasworks in Crediton. It’s the foundation of our showroom and workshop, allowing us to concentrate on the quality of our work and not the quantity.
